Does the alarm ring in silent mode?

It depends on the OS you use.

• iPhone: To begin with, the app follows your device setting, so it does not ring while the device is silenced. If you turn on "Ring in silent mode" in Settings, it rings even while the device is silenced, as long as the app is open. It does not ring while the app is closed.
• Android: It does not ring while the device is in silent mode. Because of the way Android works, this switch cannot take effect there, so the item is not shown in Settings.

When you want to keep things quiet, you can also use "Vibrate only, no sound" in Settings.

Do the timers keep running when I close the app?

They do. A notification tells you when the time is up. Notifications still arrive after you remove the app from the list of recent apps (we checked this on real iPhone and Android devices).

There is one thing to note. On Android, if you use "Force stop" on the app from your device settings, notifications stop until you open the app again.

How many timers can I use at the same time?

Four. All four are ready as soon as you open the app, and there is no operation to add or remove them. You can leave the ones you are not using as they are.

Press and hold one of the timers at the bottom to clear its time and name.

What should I do when the alarm does not ring?

Please check the following in order.

1. Whether notifications are allowed. Without permission, the alarm does not ring while the app is closed. In that case the app shows "Won't ring in the background", and you can open the settings from there.
2. Whether the device is silenced or in silent mode (please see the question above).
3. Whether "Volume" in Settings is at 0%. This volume applies to the sound that plays while the app is open.
4. Whether "Vibrate only, no sound" in Settings is on. While it is on, no sound plays.
5. On Android, whether you have used "Force stop" on the app from your device settings.

If it still does not ring after these checks, please write to us with your device model and OS version.

Is there a limit to how many presets I can save?

There is no limit to the number. You can save as many of the times you use often as you like.

A name can be up to 12 characters. A name that does not fit in the frame on screen is shown with the end trimmed.

Can I remove the ads?

We do not offer a way to remove the ads. This app is free and is supported by ads alone.

There is no paid version, and every feature is available for free. No ad is shown while the alarm is ringing or while the settings screen is open.

Can I get a "1 minute left" notice?

If you turn on "Pre-alarm" in Settings, a warning sound plays 1 minute before the timer ends. It is off to begin with.

The timing is fixed at 1 minute before and cannot be changed.

Sometimes a different sound plays instead of the one I picked (Android)

On Android, the standard sound ("Alarm" in Settings) plays while the app is closed. The sound you pick in Settings plays while the app is open.

The volume and fade in settings also take effect while the app is open. While the app is closed, the device volume is used.

On iPhone, the sound you pick plays even while the app is closed.
