About this Policy
kumakichi works (the "Operator") sets out below how information is handled in "Multi Kitchen Timer" (the "App").
The App does not collect any information that identifies you as an individual. No account registration is required, and you are never asked for your name, email address, or phone number.
1. Scope
- This Policy applies to information the Operator obtains through the App.
- This Policy does not apply to the handling of information by websites, apps, or services outside the App.
2. Information We Handle
2.1 Information we do not collect
The App never collects any of the following.
- Name, email address, phone number, postal address, or other contact details
- Account details, login credentials, or passwords
- Location data (neither approximate nor precise)
- Contacts, calendar, call history, or SMS messages
- Camera recordings or microphone recordings
- Payment details or purchase history
- Web browsing history
2.2 Information stored only on your device
The following is stored only on your device and is never sent anywhere, including to the Operator.
- Timer settings (durations and labels)
- Presets (durations and labels)
- App settings (alarm sound, volume, fade-in, auto-stop, pre-alarm, haptic feedback, keep screen on, and similar options)
- Any photo you set as an icon (see 2.3 below)
2.3 Photos
The App lets you set one of your own photos as a timer icon. Photos are handled as follows.
- To choose a photo, the App asks for access to your photo library. You can grant or deny this access in your device settings.
- The App does not use the camera. Photos can only be chosen from your existing library.
- The photo you choose is converted to a 512×512 pixel JPEG image and saved on your device, in storage that belongs to the App.
- The photo is never sent anywhere. The Operator does not receive it and cannot view it. It is never shown to anyone else.
- Deleting the App from your device also deletes the saved photo.
2.4 Information sent outside the device
To improve quality and to display advertising, the App sends the following. None of it identifies you as an individual.

Timer labels, preset labels, and photos are never sent. Regarding labels, the only thing recorded is whether a label was set at all, together with fixed alphabetic identifiers.
3. Purposes of Use
The Operator uses the information collected only for the following purposes.
- Finding and fixing defects in the App
- Improving the App's features and planning future development
- Displaying advertising
The Operator does not use the information beyond these purposes.
4. Disclosure to Third Parties
The Operator does not disclose the information collected to third parties, except in the following cases.
- Where required by law
- Where necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property, and obtaining consent is difficult

6. Advertising
- The App displays advertising through Google AdMob.
- The App shows non-personalized advertising only. Advertisements are never selected based on your interests. This setting is fixed within the App and does not change.
- To display advertising, your device's advertising ID is sent to Google LLC.
- You can reset or disable the advertising ID yourself in your device settings.
- Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
7. Security
- All information the App sends outside the device is transmitted over encrypted connections.
- Information stored on the device is kept in storage that belongs to the App and cannot be read by other apps.
8. Retention
- Information stored on the device is retained until you delete it or remove the App from your device.
- Information sent outside the device is retained for the periods set by each third-party service.
9. Your Choices
You can control how the App handles information in the following ways.
- Photo access: Grant or deny it in your device settings. If denied, only the photo icon feature becomes unavailable; every other feature works without restriction.
- Advertising ID: Reset or disable it in your device settings (see section 6.4).
- Information on your device: Removing the App from your device erases all of it.
10. Children
The App is not directed to users under 13 years of age. The Operator does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
11. Changes to this Policy
- The Operator may revise this Policy as necessary.
- A revised Policy takes effect when it is posted on this page.
- Significant changes will be announced in the App or on this page.
