The app does not collect any information that identifies you as an individual (such as your name, email address, or phone number). There is no account registration. Your workout history, workouts, reminders, and settings are stored only on your device.
The app is supported by advertising. We use services provided by Google to show ads and to improve the app's quality, and some information is sent from your device in that process. This policy explains what is sent and how it is handled.
Article 1 (Scope)
This policy applies to the smartphone app "Interval Timer" (iOS and Android; shown as "Timer" on the device home screen; the "app") provided by kumakichi works ("we", "us").
Information handled by the external services the app uses (Article 5) is subject to the privacy policies of their providers.
Article 2 (Information we collect)
2.1 Information we do not collect
The app does not collect:
- Your name, email address, phone number, postal address, or other contact information
- Accounts, user IDs, or passwords
- Precise location such as GPS (the app does not request location permission)
- Photos, contacts, camera, or microphone data (the app does not request these permissions)
- Health information such as heart rate or body weight
- Payment information (the app has no in-app purchases)
2.2 Information stored only on your device
The following information is stored only on your device and is not sent anywhere by the app. We never receive it.

Reminders are notifications scheduled on your device (local notifications). We do not send notifications from our servers.
Deleting the app deletes this information from your device.
On Android, this information is excluded from automatic backup to your Google Account. On iPhone, if you have enabled iCloud Backup, this information may be included in your device backup. This is controlled by your operating system and account settings, and we cannot see its contents.
2.3 Information sent off your device
The app sends the following information through the external services listed in Article 5.

When sending crash information, the app removes names you entered in the app (such as workout names) before sending it.
We do not link this information to information that directly identifies you, such as your name or email address. Usage analytics is configured not to use advertising identifiers.
If you send us an email from "Feedback" in the app or to the contact in Article 12, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. You send it from your own email app; the app itself does not collect or send your email address.
Article 3 (Purposes of use)
We use the information in Article 2 for the following purposes.

Article 4 (Disclosure to third parties)
We do not provide information to third parties except in the following cases, and we do not sell information.
- When information is sent to the providers of the external services in Article 5 for the purposes described there
- When required by law
The providers of the external services in Article 5 may process information outside your country, including in the United States.
Article 5 (External services)
The app uses the following external services, all provided by Google LLC. The app does not use any other ad networks or analytics services.

Article 6 (Advertising)
The app shows ads within screens and full-screen ads.
The app does not request ads tailored to your interests (personalized ads). Even for non-personalized ads, however, Google may use identifiers and other information for frequency capping, ad measurement, and preventing fraud and abuse.
On iPhone, the app does not ask for permission to track you ("Allow app to track"). As a result, the advertising identifier (IDFA) is not used by the app.
On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings (for example, Settings > Privacy > Ads; this varies by device).
Ads are limited to content suitable for general audiences (rated G).
The app does not respond to web browser "Do Not Track" signals. As described above, the app requests ads in a non-personalized form.
Article 7 (Security)
- Information sent off your device is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS).
- We do not store your workout history, workouts, reminders, or settings on our servers.
- App configuration (Cloud Firestore) is read-only, and the app cannot write to it.

Article 9 (Your choices)
- Notifications: Notification permission is optional. The timer works without it. You can change it in your device settings at any time.
- Reminders: You can turn off or delete reminders in the app at any time.
- Deleting history and workouts: You can delete them in the app.
- Advertising ID (Android): You can reset or delete it in your device settings, as described in Article 6.
- Stop all sending: If you delete the app, it no longer sends any information, and the information on your device is deleted.
Because the app has no accounts, we cannot tell which user any sent information belongs to. For this reason, we cannot disclose or delete sent information for individual users. If you have questions, please contact us (Article 12).
Article 10 (Children's information)
The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe information about a child under 13 has been sent, please contact us (Article 12).
Article 11 (Changes to this policy)
We may change this policy in response to changes in the app's features or in laws and regulations. When we do, we will post the new version on this page with its version number and revision date.
